    Job Title: ETL with BQ specialist

    Location: Chennai

    Timings: 2PM – 11PM.

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a skilled ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) Specialist with expertise in Google BigQuery to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining ETL processes, ensuring data integrity, reliability, and efficiency. They will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective ETL solutions. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of data warehousing principles. The candidate should be okay with shift timings of 2PM – 11PM.

    Responsibilities:

    • develop, and maintain ETL processes using industry best practices and tools, with a focus on Google BigQuery.
    • with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into technical specifications for ETL workflows.
    • data profiling, cleansing, and transformation to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
    • ETL workflows for performance and scalability, leveraging advanced features and capabilities of BigQuery.
    • ETL processes, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
    • and maintain documentation for ETL processes, including data mappings, transformations, and workflows.
    • updated on emerging technologies and trends in ETL, data warehousing, and Big Data analytics, recommending improvements and best practices.
    • with data engineers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making initiatives.
    • technical guidance and support to junior team members, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
    • to data governance policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

    Requirements:

    • with CRUD (Create, Read, Update, Delete) operations in relational database management systems (RDBMS), with a focus on SQL fundamentals.
    • knowledge of data analysis practices, including proficiency in utilizing Looker BI as a Business Intelligence and Visualization tool.
    • in BigQuery with a focus on following good data warehousing practices to retrieve and analyze data.
    • experience in generating reports and dashboards using the Looker Platform.
    • experience with extracting raw data from various sources and storing it in a data warehouse.
    • of data validation, tabulation, and database integration techniques.
    • and maintain databases by acquiring data from primary and secondary sources, building scripts to enhance flexibility and scalability across datasets.
