Summary:
Our client is looking for a Java Backend engineer who can work within Engineering team responsible for providing application development, troubleshooting, and maintenance for multiple operationally critical applications within the supply chain space. The candidate might have to work on the MST time zone from India, since its working in night shift, they can work from home. Location still needs to be in Bangalore or Gurgaon
Responsibilities:
Help the team maintain current legacy applications and work to continuously improve upon existing processes & tools and developing and modernizing applications.
He/she will become expert on multiple applications maintained by the team (understand business processes, application behavior, business operations, priorities, and criticality).
Prioritize issues for triage/troubleshooting by self and/or team, and participate in ticket troubleshooting individually and with peers.
Will interface regularly with peer Development teams, peer support teams, Business Partners & stores for investigations, triaging, workaround communications, outage notifications, and assessments to improve existing processes.
