Role andResponsibilities:As the GM ofNew Project Construction you will play a crucial role in planningexecuting and finalizing construction projects for our esteemedclients. Your responsibilities willinclude:

• Leading and managing theentire project construction process ensuring projects are completedon time within scope and withinbudget
• Collaborating with architects anddesigners to ensure design specifications and brand standards aremet
• Managing the permitting process andensuring compliance with local building codes andregulations
• Creating and managing projectbudgets tracking expenses and ensuringcosteffectiveness
• Monitoring constructionprogress ensuring workmanship and materials meet qualitystandards
• Selecting and managing contractorsand vendors overseeing their work and ensuring timely projectcompletion
• Regularly updating hotel managementand stakeholders on project progress and any potentialissues
• Identifying and mitigating potentialproject risks to prevent delays and costoverruns
• Handling changes in project scopeschedule and costs effectively
• Ensuringconstruction sites adhere to safety standards andregulations
• Overseeing project completion andensuring a smooth transition to hotelmanagement

CandidateQualifications:To excel inthis role you should possess the followingqualifications:

• Bachelors degree inconstruction management engineering or a related field (mastersdegree is a plus)
• 10 years of experience as aconstruction project manager in the hotel industry orsimilar
• Strong knowledge of constructionprocesses materials and methods
• Familiaritywith local building codes andregulations
• Excellent project management skillsincluding budgeting and scheduling
• Strongleadership and team managementabilities
• Effective communication andnegotiation skills
• Problemsolving anddecisionmaking skills
• Ability to work in afastpaced environment and manage multiple projectssimultaneously
• Proficiency in projectmanagement software andtools
