    Description

Position Overview: As an E3D Modeller within the Instrumentation Department, you will be responsible for creating detailed models using Engineering 3D (E3D) software for instrumentation systems. You will collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure accurate representation and integration of instrumentation components into larger engineering projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. E3D Modelling: Utilize Engineering 3D software to create accurate and detailed models of instrumentation systems according to project specifications and standards.
    2. Collaboration: Work closely with instrumentation engineers, designers, and other team members to understand project requirements, discuss design options, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
    3. Model Accuracy: Ensure the accuracy of E3D models by referencing engineering drawings, specifications, and other relevant documentation. Verify dimensions, tolerances, and other critical details to maintain fidelity with real-world components.
    4. Integration: Facilitate the integration of instrumentation models with other disciplines' models (e.g., piping, electrical) within larger engineering projects. Coordinate clash detection and resolution efforts to prevent conflicts during construction and installation phases.
    5. Quality Assurance: Conduct regular reviews of E3D models to identify and rectify errors, inconsistencies, or deviations from project standards. Ensure that models adhere to company and industry best practices.
    6. Documentation: Generate and maintain documentation related to E3D models, including model drawings, specifications, and as-built documentation. Ensure that all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
    7. Training and Support: Provide training and support to team members on E3D modelling techniques, best practices, and software functionalities. Assist in resolving technical issues and optimizing workflows to enhance productivity and efficiency.
    8. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on advancements in E3D software and modelling techniques. Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, or optimization within the Instrumentation Department.
