    Job Description

    Role Summary

    The ICC Analyst is a full time role which will ensure all product is delivered to distribution centers across Canada on time and contains accurate information within the appointment scheduling system (IMS). The ICC Analyst will work with new vendors to ensure proper understanding of Retail booking requirements, as well as research and clear issues with vendors, merchants and logistics so that merchandise flows through the network without delay. Tight deadlines must be meet to ensure all shipments are booked within agreed service level agreements (SLAs).

    Responsibilities

    Manage all inbound shipments, Appointment Alerts/ Po's & Ops within internal systems and resolve shipment issues quickly to avoid delays.
    * Partner with HBC's freight forwarder and offshore vendors to ensure all containers arriving have accurate ASN information for both our Eastern and Western DC. Create all appointments for Air & Sea Freight shipments.
    * Direct communication with vendors and buyers to resolve issues impacting shipping and processing of merchandise
    * Provide daily statistics on all incoming shipments to facilitate accurate scheduling in the Distribution Centers.
    * Process all Major Home Fashion (furniture/appliances) shipments to ensure customer orders are delivered on-time.
    * Process and schedule all ASN & Non-ASN deliveries, Po unlock, rework in PO's etc.
    * Set-up and maintenance of Dock Schedules for all DC's in Canada.
    * Utilize multiple systems to research purchase orders and apply penalties to vendors.
    * Partner with Distribution Centre on all Cross Docks to ensure accurate delivery on all goods shipping from our Western DC in Vancouver to our Eastern DC in Toronto.
    * Maintain high standards of reports & presentation.
    * Should have good knowledge of Supply chain management.
    * Should have basic knowledge in Retail.
    * Should be able to multi task.
    * Should be a quick learner.
    * Should have good knowledge of how distribution center system works.

    Job Qualifications

    Professional Requirements

    2-4 years in analytical/systems role in a logistics, transportation, distribution or related setting
    * Strong analytical and technical skills
    * Knowledge of distribution center functions and supply chain flow
    * Strong written and oral communication
    * Technical System Skills are an asset in the following: Excel, Word, Access, PPT, WMOS Manhattan etc.
