    The role

    As Deputy Director Performance Marketing, you will lead our inorganic marketing to drive growth for our travel platform. You will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimising digital marketing strategies across various channels, including search, social and display. As a growth marketer, you will apply your skills and knowledge to experiment with new and innovative ways to grow our user base and revenue. You will use your deep understanding of AdTech tools to drive sales and lead conversions and have hands-on experience in running targeted marketing campaigns using first party, second party, and third party data. You will also nurture a high-performing team, fostering cross-functional collaboration to align marketing efforts with our broader goals.     Key responsibilities

    • Manage the performance marketing budget and allocate resources efficiently to achieve the highest return on investment.
    • Develop and implement online marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness, customer acquisition, retention, and revenue.
    • Design and conduct growth experiments to test and validate new hypotheses and ideas for user acquisition, engagement, and retention.
    • Leverage data and user feedback to iterate and optimize the growth funnel and user journey.
    • Run targeted marketing campaigns using first party, second party, and third party data to segment and personalize the customer experience.
    • Ensure compliance with data privacy and security regulations and best practices.
    • Analyse and optimize the performance of marketing campaigns across different channels and platforms, using data-driven insights and best practices.
    • Establish and monitor key performance indicators and metrics to measure the effectiveness and impact of marketing campaigns.
    • Report on the results and outcomes of marketing campaigns to senior management and stakeholders, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.
    • Lead, coach, and mentor the performance marketing team, ensuring they have the skills and tools to execute their tasks effectively.
    • Stay updated on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in online marketing and travel industry, and identify new opportunities for growth and innovation.

    Key requirements for the role

    • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or related field.
    • At least 8 years of experience in online marketing, with demonstrable track record of delivering significant business growth from highly successful performance marketing campaigns in the travel industry.
    • Demonstrated capability to effectively manage marketing budgets and resources.
    • Hands on expertise in running 360-degree campaigns across various online marketing channels like Google Ads, Meta Ads, X, and other emerging digital channels.
    • Expertise in growth marketing, with a solid understanding of growth frameworks, and methodologies.
    • Experience in running targeted marketing campaigns using first party, second party, and third-party data to enhance contextual relevancy and campaign RoI.
    • Skilled in A/B and multivariate testing to refine and optimize advertising efforts.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and communicate complex data and insights.
    • Knowledge of data privacy and security regulations such as DPDP Act, GDPR etc.
    • Creative and strategic thinker, with the ability to innovate and experiment with new ideas and approaches.
    • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a high-performing team.
    • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and persuade different audiences.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
    • Passionate and knowledgeable about the travel industry and customer behaviour.
