Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Assurance Engineer with over 5 years of experience in automation testing using Java and Selenium, along with proficiency in database testing. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing automated test scripts, as well as extensive knowledge of database systems and SQL querying. As a Senior QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough testing and continuous improvement of our testing processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver to ensure the quality and stability of our web-based applications.
2. Design and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for functional and regression testing, focusing on automation wherever possible.
3. Conduct extensive testing of database systems to ensure data integrity, performance, and reliability.
4. Write and execute SQL queries to perform database validation and verification of data-driven applications.
5. Collaborate closely with development teams to understand software requirements and design test scenarios accordingly.
6. Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking tools, and work closely with developers to ensure timely resolution.
7. Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
8. Mentor and provide guidance to junior QA team members on automation best practices and testing techniques.
9. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in software testing and quality assurance.
10. Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
