- Developing and implementing supply chain strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives in the ecommerce sector
- Collaborating with senior management to set supply chain goals and objectives
- Managing and optimising the operations of four warehouses located in Bangalore, Mumbai, Delhi, and Kolkata, ensuring efficient inventory management, order fulfilment, and delivery within the ecommerce framework
- Lead procurement efforts, negotiate with suppliers, and ensure cost effective sourcing of materials, products, and services to support the needs of our ecommerce operations
- Overseeing inventory levels, forecasting, and demand planning to ensure optimal stock levels while minimising carrying costs in the context of ecommerce
- Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and monitoring supplier performance to ensure timely and cost effective procurement of materials and services for ecommerce operations
- Managing the transportation, warehousing, and distribution of products within the ecommerce supply chain to ensure ontime delivery to customers while minimising transportation costs
- Continuously reviewing and improving ecommerce supply chain processes to enhance efficiency, reduce lead times, and streamline operations
- Identifying and mitigating supply chain risks, including disruptions in the ecommerce supply chain, and developing contingency plans
- Leading and mentoring a team of supply chain professionals within the ecommerce sector, providing guidance, training, and support to achieve departmental goals
- Developing and monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) specific to ecommerce supply chain operations to assess effectiveness and drive datadriven improvements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role
- Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics, inventory management, and ecommerce operations
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools
- Proven ability to lead and develop a highperforming team within the e commerce context
- Analytical and problemsolving skills with a datadriven approach
- Industryspecific certifications (e.g., APICS, CSCMP)
- Experience in a similar role within the ecommerce industry
- Knowledge of international supply chain practices and regulations in the e commerce sector
