Job Description: Pharmacy Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting the pharmacist in providing medication and other healthcare products to our patients. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and inventory of medication and supplies.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting the pharmacist in dispensing medication and other healthcare products to patients
• Answering patient questions and providing information about medications and other healthcare products
• Maintaining accurate records of medication and supplies
• Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed
• Ensuring that medication and supplies are stored properly and safely
• Communicating with healthcare professionals and insurance providers as needed

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience working in a pharmacy or healthcare setting preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic math skills
