    Role: Automation Lead (Accel PortfolioCompany)

    Work Location: Chandigarh (No remote /no hybrid)

    About the Role

    Asthe Automation Test Lead at you will be responsible forleading our automation testing efforts and ensuring the delivery ofhighquality software products. With a minimum of 6 years ofexperience in automation testing you will lead a team of automationengineers designing developing and maintaining automated testsuites to support continuous integration and deliverypipelines.

    Responsibilities:

    Lead and manage the automation testing team including hiringtraining mentoring and performance evaluation.

    Develop and implement automation testing strategies frameworks andbest practices to ensure the reliability and scalability of oursoftware products.

    Collaborate withcrossfunctional teams including Development Quality Assurance andDevOps to define automation requirements and integrate automatedtests into CI/CD pipelines.

    Design develop andmaintain automated test scripts and frameworks usingplaywright/Selenium.

    Identify opportunities fortest automation and drive the adoption of automation across allphases of the software development lifecycle.

    Establish and enforce automation testing standards and guidelinesensuring consistency and quality in automationdeliverables.

    Analyse test results and defectsto identify root causes and provide recommendations forresolution.

    Monitor test automation executionand performance identifying and addressing any issues orbottlenecks.

    Stay updated on emerging trendstechnologies and best practices in automation testing incorporatingthem into our testing processes and methodologies.

    Collaborate with stakeholders to define key metrics andKPIs to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of automationtesting efforts.

    Act as a subject matter experton automation testing providing guidance support and training toteam members and stakeholders.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelors degree inComputer Science Engineering or a related field.

    Minimum of 6 years of experience in automation testingwith expertise in designing and implementing automation frameworksand test scripts.

    Proficiency in automationtesting tools such as Selenium or Playwright.

    Strong programming skills in languages such as Java PythonJavaScript or similar.

    Experience with CI/CDpipelines and integrating automated tests into build and deploymentprocesses.

    Solid understanding of softwaretesting principles methodologies and best practices.

    Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities with akeen attention to detail.

    Strong leadership andcommunication skills with the ability to effectively interact withteam members and stakeholders at all levels.

    Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced dynamic environment andmanage multiple priorities simultaneously.

    Proven track record of successfully leading automation testinginitiatives and delivering highquality software products.
