This role sits in development team itself where this person will work closely with core development team to

Fully understand the architecture and design of existing web-based application

Understand most common use cases of the application

Build an automated test suite from scratch

This person will need to understand the application's in and out and build a comprehensive automated test suite covering all possible major use cases. These test suites should cover most common aspects of automated web application testing like load testing, performance measurement, backward compatibility testing etc. This role will require person to acquire lots of application specific knowledge.

Desired Qualification

BE/B. Tech in Computer Science with CGPA 6.5 and above

Experience:

Must have good understanding of Black/White/Gray techniques of testing

Must be able to think test cases clearly with maximum coverage of functionality

Must have experience of working with third party open source automation tools

Must have good understanding of Python or any other scripting language

Must have experience of 1 years or more in building automated testing suite for web application testing

Should have experience of working on at least one such suite from scratch

Should have understanding of Python (or any other scripting language), HTML, Java Script, CSS and other web application aspects
