We are looking for a Supply Chain Management Resource who would be responsible for supply chain delivery & domain expertise and delivering analytics and reporting projects:

Role and Responsibilities:

Has worked in the Supply Chain Analytics space with hands on experience in area of Demand Planning. Also has exposure to Statistical modeling and ML

• Own Demand Forecasting activity for designated global markets
• Understand forecast models for each individual unit, stress test on inputs and perform RCA for Issues
• Triage issues / tickets and categorize into H/M/L priority with its own TAT
• Driving continuous improvement by analysing issues / tickets
• Help land the FEU productivity in demand planning over a period of time
• Suggest methods to resolve the tickets and work with FEU Core team to improve model selection and suggestion to upgrade features if required
• Interact with global stakeholders on a regular basis and comprehend specific market nuances to forecast accordingly
• Drive discussions within the team and with global stakeholders for topics related to Demand Forecasting
• Analyse KPI report with Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias, Extreme Bias, etc at multiple levels.
• Generate performance reports and Responsible to improve pre-defined KPIs like forecast error, bias, SKU ownership etc.
• Use advanced excel to crate multiple reports, analyze data, create what if scenarios etc.
• Should be able to analyze effect of forecasting decisions on entire supply. Should have an end to end view of the supply chain processes.
• Understand forecast models for each individual unit, stress test on inputs and perform RCA for Issues
• Change request to Update / Tweak forecasting parameters to accommodate for deviation for future runs
• Keep constant check on forecast quality and take proactive actions if the forecast quality declines
• Investigation & working with ML Ops & Planners on RCA & service request management with ML Ops and L3 Data Science team

Minimum qualifications

• BE/B.Tech along with MBA-Operations/M.Tech
• Hands on experience in Demand Forecasting
• Exposure to other areas of Supply Chain like Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Logistics will be an added advantage
• Expert in advanced excel and showcase strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize and analyze significant amount of data with attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency with MS PowerPoint, Word
• Work experience on Kinaxis Rapid Response will be an added advantage
• Experience of deployment of machine learning capabilities in other FMCG/CPGs an advantage
• Hands-on knowledge of working with data science and/or machine learning models, and ability to understand model inputs and outputs is a must
