About the job :

Work Experience : Overall IT professional experience of 8+ years

- At least 5+ years of Disaster Recovery Management, Planning, Coordination, and Management experience

Responsibilities :

- Led and Coordinated to Plan & exercising of recovery testing for Energy & Utilities customers

- Ability to perform various kinds of drills ranging from tabletop, application level, and center -failover.

- Excellent understanding of recovery strategies and various Infrastructure Technologies Like Storage, Backup, Networks, Security, and Operating Systems (WINTEL, Linux, Solaris).

Education & Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

- At least 8+ years of experience in computing or related areas with a focus on technology and management.

- Professional certifications such as ABCP/CBCP/ BS25999 would be an added advantage.

- Technology related Certification

Responsibilities :

Develop, document, and test disaster recovery plans for critical IT systems and data. Identify potential risks and threats that could disrupt business operations.

Analyze business impact and recovery time objectives (RTOs) for essential systems.

Design and implement data backup and replication strategies.

Oversee disaster recovery training for various departments.

Conduct regular testing and drills to ensure the DR plan is effective.

Stay up-to-date on the latest disaster recovery trends and technologies.

Maintain and update disaster recovery documentation to reflect changes in systems and procedures.

May participate in the recovery process when a disaster occurs.
