    What will you do in this role?

    Set the vision and roadmap for business intelligence team within Max Life. Drive thought leadership and champion a culture of data-informed decision-making within Max Life.

    Partner with MLI business leaders to support their decision-making, identify and define/refine the right KPIs / metrics and build processes to make them readily available.

    Create a strategic vision of reporting excellence within the organization and establish best practices.
    Build and maintain real-time or near real-time data assets that empower various roles across the organization.

    Work closely with IT teams to align / build the data architecture and infrastructure needed to serve real time business intelligence.

    Lead and enable transformation to embrace automation, adoption of BI data assets, standardizing common metrics and reporting and developing/deploying new data products.

    Set the standards for data quality and establish governance to ensure accuracy and reliability of business metrics.

    Lead the implementation of the end-to-end process for incentive calculations, considering the nuanced requirements of different distribution channels and varied roles within each channel.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish comprehensive Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for incentive calculations, integrate technological solutions and streamline processes for enhanced efficiency and accuracy.

    Implement feedback mechanisms and performance metrics to assess and continuously improve the incentive calculation process.
    Oversee regular audits of the incentive calculation process to guarantee accuracy and compliance with internal policies.

    Build, coach and mentor a team of world class BI analysts / developers, build career paths that promote growth and development.

    Transform the team from a reporting focus to forward looking data usage, data management and delivering insights.
    Build an environment that supports continuous improvement and learning, innovation, and intelligent risk-taking. Ensure the teams' skills and knowledge base remains relevant in the evolving field of digitization, data analytics and business intelligence

    How do you know that you are fit for this role?


    You have entrepreneurial mindset, ability to question the status quo, out of box thinking and ability to create win-win propositions.

    Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage senior stakeholders.

    You have at least 15 years of experience in building or leading a BI function in a fast pace and high complexity industry (financial services exposure will be a plus).You have advanced understanding of entire data and business intelligence ecosystem including Data Management, Data Quality Standards and Data Governance, Accessibility, BI tools (PowerBi, Qlik, SAP BO), etc.

    Understanding of data privacy regulations and compliance requirements relevant to business intelligence activities.

    You have experience in inspiring and managing large teams (30+).Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on emerging trends, tools, and technologies in the field of business intelligence.

    Familiarity with project management methodologies and toolsExperience of AWS cloud environment will be a plus.
