You will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing innovative data solutions that enable efficient data management, analytics, and insights generation across the organization.

Your Responsibilities:

• Challenge Resolution:
• Leverage your expertise to identify and resolve complex technical challenges with data warehousing, ETL, and cloud migrations.
• Collaborate directly with stakeholders to develop long-term, strategic solutions instead of temporary fixes.
• Demonstrate a proven track record of successful cloud data warehouse migrations.
• Technical Expertise:
• Possess in-depth knowledge of concepts like micro-partitions, warehouses, clones, stages, time travel, and cluster keys.
• Have experience ingesting data into Snowflake from various sources like S3, SharePoint, and APIs.
• Be proficient in scheduling ingestion pipelines using Tasks, Snowpipe, Airflow, or similar tools.
• Demonstrate expertise in advanced Snowflake concepts like resource monitors, RBAC controls, virtual warehouse sizing, and query performance tuning.
• Possess strong hands-on skills in SQL, PL/SQL, and Unix shell scripting.
• Architectural Acumen:
• Design and architect data-driven solutions across all layers, including technical, integration, data, and application architecture.
• Experience architecting solutions for multi-country implementations and collaborating with geographically dispersed teams.
• Hybrid Expertise:
• Design solutions that seamlessly integrate legacy COTS and homegrown applications with modern microservices and open-source technologies.
• Innovation Champion:
• Lead the development and implementation of technology prototypes, proof of concepts, and reference implementations for exploring new technologies and staying ahead of the curve.
• Strategic Vision:
• Possess strong strategic thinking abilities and an enterprise-wide perspective.
• Ensure your solutions align with business objectives and long-term goals.

Preferred Skills:

• 10+ years of experience in data warehouse and ETL technologies.
• Experience working on end-to-end implementation of cloud data warehouse migrations.
• Experience ingesting data from diverse sources like S3, SharePoint, and APIs.
• Experience scheduling ingestion pipelines using Tasks, Snowpipe, Airflow, or similar tools.
• Hands-on skills in SQL, PL/SQL, and Unix shell scripting.
• Proven experience in architecting data-driven solutions across multiple layers.
• Ability to design and integrate legacy and modern technologies.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.

Good to Have:

• Understanding/working knowledge of Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Hive, and Impala.
• Experience handling technical issues on visualization tools like Tableau.
