    Job Objective

    Help formulate Go to Market strategy to support our business development, sales, and customer relationship management initiative. Ensure growth in sustainable revenues and number of satisfied customers. Understand the customer needs in the target market and offer competitive products from our product portfolio. Play a role of a mentor to ensure capability building within sales team.

    Key Responsibility Areas


    Formulate Go to Market strategy for the countries under your regionStudy and analyze political situation, financial budget allocation to defense sector.

    This will help understand the potential of the marketDerive insights from Market research, competitor's products informationCustomize sales strategy as per every country's specific requirementGuide sales manager to initiate actions to support implementation of sales strategyGuide, Review and Approve budget for sales visit plan, exhibition/demo plan, tradeshows, business meet and other business development initiatives ensuring increase in brand awarenessReview and approve report prepared by sales manager after sales visit, exhibition, tradeshow etc.

    Review and provide feedback on Annual Sales Forecast and budget plan for the region. Ensure sales growth targets and profitability are achievedHelp sales manager to develop and build relationships with the Clients/Agents and Channel Partners of the respective region/countryKeep track of new products and latest/upcoming technologies in the market and transfer the information to respective stakeholders for future product enhancements/developmentHelp in identifying upcoming tenders by guiding sales managers to analyze lost tender data, warranty information for past won tenders, related current affairs and news for the market etcConduct end to end review of each country under your region to understand compliance on closure report of an opportunity on CRMGuide in preparing bid participation strategyTrack trend of regional sales KPI on regular basis and initiate actions to improve overall sales performanceBuild strong relationship with Channel Partners to ensure growth in leads generation and conversionPlay a key role of a very strong mentor and guide the sales managers on bringing in more businessGuide and help sales managers on how to ensure payments are received on timeMonthly review of Sales funnel of the regions with respective Sales ManagerRegular Sales review with international sales head and company CEO

    QualificationMaster's degree in Marketing /Sales

    Other desired qualificationsPrior experience of working with defence, government departments and agencies

    Relevant Experience20 to 25 years of overall experience, with 15 to 20 years in similar role

    Knowledge and Skills RequiredDelegation and Negotiations skillsand mentoring skillscommunication, and interpersonal skillsand Critical thinking skillsOffice (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Project
