    What are we looking for?

    The Credit Analyst will play a crucial role in assessing the creditworthiness of individuals, businesses, and institutions in the banking, financial services, and insurance (BFSI) sector. They will utilize their expertise in credit rating to evaluate financial data, analyse credit risks, and provide accurate credit ratings for various borrowers.

    What does the job entail?

    1. Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis of Investee companies by reviewing financial statements, cash flow projections, and other relevant documents to determine creditworthiness.

    2. Credit Rating: Monitor Marketing pricing of credit spreads to ascertain opportunities for sales and purchases from the portfolio.

    3. Risk Assessment: Evaluate credit risk factors associated with credit proposals, such as market conditions, industry trends, collateral, and economic indicators, to provide in-depth risk assessment, at individual investment security level as well as portfolio level.

    4. Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies while conducting credit analysis and assigning credit ratings.

    5. Portfolio Monitoring: Regularly monitor the credit profile and financial performance by analyzing financial statements, prepare comprehensive credit rating and continuous credit monitoring.

    6. Research and Market Analysis: Stay updated with industry trends, economic indicators, and credit market conditions to identify potential risks and opportunities.

    7. Peer relationship Management: Build strong relationships with other analysts in rating agencies, peer investment institutions and investee companies' officials, to stay abreast of market developments.

    8. Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve credit rating methodologies, enhance analytical tools, and streamline processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

    Qualification & Work exp:

    1. Education: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA)

    2. Experience: Minimum of [6 to 8] years of experience as a Credit Analyst across multiple sectors, including experience in BFSI sector, specifically focusing on credit rating. Familiarity with rating agency methodologies is essential.

    3. Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and evaluate credit risks.

    4. Knowledge of Regulatory Standards: Sound knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks, reporting standards, and compliance requirements.

    5. Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in credit analysis and credit rating assignments.

    6. Communication Skills: Effective written and verbal communication skills to present complex credit analysis findings and recommendations to stakeholders.

    7. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to identify and address potential risks, propose solutions, and make sound credit recommendations.

    8. Team Player: Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

    9. Software Competence: Proficiency in financial analysis tools, credit rating software, and MS Office Suite.
