    Description

    Job Responsibilities

    1. Oversee the daily management of server hardware, peripherals, and basic networking, promptly resolving various issues to maintain the seamless operation of global IT infrastructure.

    2. Primarily concentrate on supporting Client and Server-related functions, with an approximate time allocation of 70% for Client tasks and 30% for Server tasks.
    Client responsibilities include:

    • Managing support tickets
    • Creating software installation packages
    • Handling PC hardware
    • Overseeing software license compliance

    Server responsibilities encompass:

    • Managing support tickets
    • Installing, configuring, operating, and maintaining server operating systems
    • Providing monthly patching support for servers

    Background & Skills

    • A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Electronic Communication, or Automation-related fields, with 3-5 years of experience in IT Infrastructure Operations or related support roles.

    • A solid foundation in software development and proficiency in PowerShell programming for creating software installation packages, along with a strong understanding of automation principles and IT infrastructure automation knowledge.

    • Proficient in using software development tools and systems such as VS Code, Visual Studio, Git, and Azure DevOps, with good coding management practices.

    • General knowledge of IT Infrastructure, including:
    a) Windows Server 2016/2019, Windows 10/11, and fundamental knowledge of RH Linux at the hypervisor/OS level, especially regarding silent software installations.
    b) Familiarity with software packaging tools like InstallShield, Inno Setup, and NSIS.
    c) Capability to perform script-based automation on Microsoft platforms.
    d) Troubleshooting skills on Microsoft platforms.
    e) Experience with virtualization and cloud technologies such as VMware vSphere and Microsoft Azure/AWS.
    f) Networking knowledge including LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, DNS, WINS, DHCP, and operational experience with network equipment.

    • Experience supporting HPE hardware, including blades, Fibre Channel, standalone servers, desktops, laptops, and SAN storage is advantageous.

    • ITIL 4, VCP, VACP, MCSE, or RH Linux certifications are preferred, along with strong English reading and writing skills.

    • Excellent communication and coordination abilities, a strong sense of responsibility, and proficient documentation skills in English.

    • Flexibility to work additional hours and weekends as required.
