    Overview :

    The Power BI Lead With Snowflake plays a crucial role in our organization by leading the development and implementation of Power BI solutions integrated with Snowflake.

    This role entails leveraging data from our Snowflake data warehouse to create visually appealing and insightful dashboards for business users, enabling informed decision-making.


    Key Responsibilities :

    • Lead the design and development of Power BI reports and dashboards.
    • Work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
    • Utilize Snowflake as the data source and ensure optimal data architecture and performance.
    • Provide expertise in data visualization best practices and create compelling visualizations.
    • Optimize and maintain Power BI dashboards for scalability and performance.
    • Train and mentor team members on Power BI and Snowflake best practices.
    • Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure accurate data integration and transformation.
    • Implement and enhance data security and governance within Power BI and Snowflake.
    • Stay updated with Power BI and Snowflake advancements and recommend system enhancements.
    • Ensure effective communication and documentation of Power BI development processes.

    Required Qualifications :
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

    • Proven 8+ years of experience as a Power BI developer or lead with proficiency in Snowflake integration.
    • Deep understanding of data modelling and ETL processes using Snowflake.
    • Expertise in DAX, M, and SQL for data manipulation and transformation within Power BI.
    • Information management experience to include, business intelligence reporting, data warehouse/ETL, analytics and/or data analysis experience.
    • Hands on Microsoft Power BI experience including data visualization design, development and implementation, building dashboards and customization to meet business needs.
    • Ability to gather and document requirements and demonstrate a focus on performance and usability.
    • Experience with Microsoft Reporting tools and other Data Visualization and BI tools (Tableau, Qlik).
    • Experience with database technologies such as SQL Server, Oracle or Redshift.
    • Experience with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, MapReduce, Spark) is a plus.
    • Excellent communication skills.

    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple task assignments.
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
