Job Title: Business Finance Manager

Role Overview

Role is to drive efficiency through commercial strategy (Buying and Selling), operations strategy and efficiency

Key Responsibilities

Driving Efficiency through Better pricing, contracting terms and Vendor contracting

• Commercial evaluation of contracts: Reviewing Contract pricing & highlighting deviations from the standard practices, suggesting ways to structure contracts more beneficially for the Company.
• Driving buying efficiency: Track purchase price, obtain comparative quotes, negotiate better pricing based on comparatives & volume commitments.

Driving Efficiency through analysis of staffing and utilization

• Operational efficiency:
• Driving project efficiency by overseeing staffing, project gross margins, deviations, and on-time project closures.
• Research efficiency: Track research efficiency & metrics, highlight gaps & areas for improvement to increase research efficiency.
• Defining and managing the process of cross team functions (primarily internal research teams, consulting team and the 3rd party partners)

Managing OKR, MIS and forecasting

• Budgeting & Forecasting: Work closely with the business heads develop the annual financial plan for the business unit. Review budgets vis-à-vis actuals.
• Build MIS around key analysis and present to CFO and CEO.

Qualifications/ Key skills

• Finance background is a a plus
• The candidate should have analytical & problem-solving skills
• Proficient Excel sheet and PPT skills
• Ability to do effective stakeholder management
• Prior consulting experience is a plus
