- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure using AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platform
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure that applications are highly available, scalable, and secure
- Implement and maintain automated deployment and scaling processes
- Monitor system performance and recommend improvements
- Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery procedures
- Develop and maintain documentation of cloud infrastructure and processes
- Stay up-to-date with emerging cloud technologies and recommend new solutions to improve our cloud infrastructure
- Troubleshoot issues related to cloud infrastructure
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Proven experience of 2+ years as a Cloud Engineer or similar role
- In-depth knowledge of major cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Certified - Professional Cloud Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert)
- Deep hands-on experience in API design & development database query/ingestion/Data Security using Python
- Experience with REST API Services using Flask, Django
- Experience with container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker Swarm)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, ELK Stack)
- Experience with serverless computing (AWS Lambda, EC2, Google Cloud Run, Azure Functions)
- Continuous integration and deployment (CICD) with tools such as Jenkins ,GIT,JIRA
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and practice
- Self-starter capability, ability to quickly acquire new technologies in a dynamic environment
- Strong problem solving, Interpersonal & Organizational skills
