Job Summary

The Architect will play a critical role in guiding our development team through the design and development phases of complex Java applications. This position involves leading by example, providing architectural guidance, being hands-on with creating proof of concepts, and ensuring our applications are designed for scale and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in Java and application architecture and strong leadership skills to mentor and motivate a team.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and architect high-quality, scalable, and resilient software systems based on microservices using Java technologies and Spring Boot.
Architect and develop high-performance Java applications, focusing on scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
Serve as the primary point of contact for technical discussions with stakeholders, including executives, project managers, and end-users.
Provide technical oversight and guidance to development teams, ensuring that implementations are aligned with the architectural vision.
Oversee the development and integration of APIs and microservices, ensuring efficient data flow and service interoperability.

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
More than 6 years of professional experience in Java development and architecture, software development, proven expertise in building microservices-based architectures.
Demonstrated experience in application architecture and design, with a solid understanding of design patterns and best practices.
Expert proficiency in Java and related technologies, with a keen eye for emerging trends and technologies.
Experience with Agile development methodologies.
Profound knowledge of microservices architecture, Spring Boot, messaging brokers, and Cloud databases.
Hands-on experience with backend technologies, microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and Azure cloud platforms.
Architect scalable and robust solutions using Azure services.
Experience with Azure services and architecture patterns.
Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor, motivate, and guide a development team.
