    Description

    We are seeking an IP Manager to join our team in either Noida or Bengaluru, India, focusing on patent preparation and prosecution services. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies such as electronics, telecommunication, cloud computing, AI, ML, automation, and more for a diverse range of clients worldwide. Our team, led by the Director of patent operations and global head of the patent preparation and prosecution service line, comprises 18 members skilled in various technology fields like electrical, mechanical, electronics, software, chemical, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology.

    About You – experience, education, skills, and accomplishments

    • At least 8 years of experience in patent preparation and prosecution
    • Proven ability to deliver high-quality patent applications and office action responses
    • Expertise in handling cases across global jurisdictions like US, EP, CN, KR, JP, IN, etc.
    • Experience in training and mentoring team members
    • Versatility in handling cases in various technology areas
    • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Telecommunication/Electronics or relevant disciplines

    It would be great if you also had...

    • A patent agent registration number
    • A law degree
    • A Master's or PhD in Telecommunication/Electronics or related disciplines
    • Knowledge of standard essential patents (SEPs) and technology standards like 4G, 5G, 6G
    • Experience in patentability searches and analysis

    What will you be doing in this role?

    • Drafting patent applications and office action responses in compliance with various patent laws
    • Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to achieve goals
    • Conducting meaningful discussions with client teams
    • Training and mentoring junior members
    • Scoping, quoting, and tracking projects effectively
