    Description

    Penetration Tester Role and Responsibilities

    We are seeking a skilled penetration tester to conduct manual and automated security assessments for web applications, mobile applications, APIs, networks, and thick client applications.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct manual and automated penetration testing (PT) using industry-standard tools such as Burp Suite Professional, Qualys, Nmap, Nessus, Metasploit, Kali Linux, Wireshark, and sqlmap.
    • Perform Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing (VAPT), including manual techniques.
    • Execute dynamic and static analysis (DAST, SAST, MAST) to identify vulnerabilities in various application types.
    • Apply mobile application security tools like Appuse, MOBSF, Postman, Mobisec, and others to identify vulnerabilities in Android and iOS applications.
    • Demonstrate a deep understanding of OWASP Top 10 for both web and mobile application security.

    Technical Skills:

    • Strong manual penetration testing skills and proficiency in using automated tools.
    • Expertise in tools for web, mobile, and API security assessments.
    • Thorough understanding of secure coding practices and risk mitigation.
    • Hands-on experience in analyzing results from tools to identify false positives.

    Education and Certifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in B.Tech or any related field.
    • Equivalent qualifications may also be considered.
    • Certifications: CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker), PNPT, eJPT, OSCP, or equivalent will be added advantage.

    Additional Requirements:

    • Strong communication and documentation skills.
    • Knowledge of emerging security threats and mitigation techniques.
