    About the role

    Gartner is looking for a well-rounded and motivated senior developer to join its HR Technology team which is responsible for developing web-based applications and integrations to support its HR Technology applications.

    What you will do

  • Consult with business and technical teams about app design and maintenance; collaborate on design decisions.
  • Design and develop custom extend applications and conduct unit testing.
  • Provide support for any issues related to Extend apps and relevant incident management and app log monitoring.
  • Manage existing Workday Extend applications deployed in production.
  • Perform routine break/fix support and regression testing and support the inbound/outbound interfaces to the systems.
  • Manage the production enhancements and new technical projects in HR technology, including, but not limited to, Workday integrations and Workday Extend.
  • Collaborate with HRIS, Business and IT/ extended technical teams to provide IT solutions to Business requirements.
  • Design applications/integrations and presents design to application leads/business for review.
  • Perform coding and/or configuration, unit test, and support UAT to meet documented needs, utilizing standard procedures and techniques.
  • Demonstrate understanding of application development methods, including agile and waterfall, as well as the fundamentals of requirement specifications, design, coding and testing of business applications systems.
  • Contribute to continual improvement by suggesting improvements to workday integration architecture.
  • What you will need

    Strong IT professional with 2- 4 yrs of experience in managing Workday Extend integrations for HR Applications. The candidate should have strong qualitative and quantitative problem-solving skills along with high ownership and accountability.

    Must have

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in developing and customizing Workday applications using the Workday Extend platform. This includes configuring objects, creating custom fields, and integrating with other systems.
  • Understanding of Workday Security & Web Services and Knowledge of programming languages such as JavaScript, XML, XSLT, and SQL.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and develop Workday Extend integrations and ability to adapt to changes and learn new technologies as required.
  • Who you are

  • Graduate/Post graduate in BE/Btech, ME/MTech or MCA is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
  • Able to work independently or within a team proactively in a fast-paced AGILE-SCRUM environment.
  • Owns success – Takes responsibility for successful delivery of the solutions.
