Software Engineer - SNOWFLAKE - Contract (6 Months)

Knowledge and hands on experience with Snowflake.
Understanding of cloud cost models and pricing mechanisms as well as focus on automation as solution, not manual.

Minimum 2-year experience with cloud cost management tools like Cloud Health, NetApp Spot, AWS Cost Explorer and AWS resource editor.

Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
Experience with Cloud Financial ManagementHands on experience developing APIs, UIs, and automations.
Experience implementing or reviewing KPI/OKR for improvement of FinOps capabilities.
Experience in languages commonly used in cloud environmentsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills

Job Functions:
Analyze current cloud spend and identify optimization opportunities for effective cost and resource management.
Develop Automations for cost governance.
Provide Cost transparency for application teams by creating Show back reports.
Provide resource right sizing recommendations to application teams based on workload requirements.
Perform POC/POC with latest Cloud Services to publish guidelines and standards from cost and performance efficiency.
Hands on experience to Upgrade/Migrate cloud resources.
