Job Description:

As a Senior Shopify Developer , you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing our e-commerce presence on the Shopify platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in web development, specifically with Shopify, and a proven track record of deploying and managing successful online stores. Should be able to setup and configure Shopify store.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement new features and functionalities for our Shopify store.

Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

Optimize website applications for maximum speed and scalability.

Implement SEO best practices and ensure compliance with web standards and accessibility.

Conduct website performance tests and troubleshoot any technical issues.

Maintain updated knowledge of Shopify's features, limitations, and updates.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers.

Collaborate with stakeholders on project requirements and timelines.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

4-5 years of proven experience in Shopify development.

Strong knowledge of Shopify's theming system and Liquid templating.

Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other relevant web design coding languages.

Experience with responsive and adaptive design.

Understanding of SEO principles and ensuring that applications adhere to them.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Shopify Plus.

Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools.

Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as React or

Knowledge of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as LESS and SASS.

Experience with version control tools such as Git.
