Job Title: Junior Power BI Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Power BI Developer with 4 years of experience to join our team. As a Junior Power BI Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports using Power BI. You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into effective data visualizations.

Responsibilities:

1. Power BI Development: Design, develop, and deploy Power BI dashboards and reports that effectively visualize data and provide actionable insights. Create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that meet business requirements.
2. Data Modeling: Work with business stakeholders and data engineers to understand data sources, perform data modeling, and ensure the availability of clean and accurate data for analysis. Transform complex data sets into meaningful and intuitive visualizations.
3. Report and Dashboard Design: Present data in a clear and concise manner, utilizing appropriate charts, graphs, and visual elements.
4. Data Integration: Integrate data from various sources into Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and consistency. Perform data cleansing, transformation, and aggregation to create a unified and reliable data model.
5. Performance Optimization: Identify and implement performance optimization techniques to ensure efficient data retrieval and rendering within Power BI. Optimize report performance by fine-tuning queries, data models, and visuals.
6. Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze data trends, patterns, and outliers using Power BI's analytical capabilities. Provide valuable insights and recommendations to business stakeholders based on data analysis.
7. Collaboration and Documentation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, business analysts, and stakeholders, to gather requirements and understand business processes. Document data models, report specifications, and development processes to ensure knowledge sharing and maintainability.
8. Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough testing and validation of developed Power BI solutions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to business requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or bugs that arise during testing or production.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in Power BI development and data visualization.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI Desktop, including data modeling, DAX, and Power Query.
• Experience in designing and developing interactive dashboards, reports, and scorecards.
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and best practices.
• Proficiency in SQL for data retrieval and manipulation.
• Familiarity with data integration and ETL processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business requirements into effective visualizations.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within defined timelines.
• Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and team members.
