    Description

    Hiring for a Director in Data Science and Business Intelligence in Mumbai.

    Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

    • MBA or advanced degree in Statistics, Math, Engineering or other quantitative-focused field preferred
    • 15+ years of experience in Data Science, AI / ML, Data Modelling, Business Intelligence, Client Intelligence
    • Experience using computer languages (Python, Pyspark, Google Analytics, etc.) to manipulate and analyze large datasets.
    • Experience using machine learning libraries in Python (Numpy, Pandas, Sci-kit learn, TensorFlow, etc.)
    • Knowledge of a variety of machine learning algorithms (linear regression, logistic regression, SVMs, Tree-based models, neural networks, etc.) and techniques (cross-validation, feature selection approaches, hyperparameter optimization, missing data imputation, etc.)
    • Strong visualization capabilities and experience with BI tools (Qlik, Tableau, Power BI, etc).
    • Technical expertise in data mining (SQL, Python, etc)
    • Experienced people manager adept at working in matrix organization and managing dynamic high-performance teams

    Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

    • Understanding of Investment Management Business, Mutual Funds, Managed Accounts, and/or Separate Accounts are preferable
    • A balanced approach combining judgment, analytical rigor, curiosity, open-mindedness and creativity. Excellent communication skills and story-telling acumen
    • Ability to multi-task and understand priorities/workflows. Self-motivated, team player with strong work ethic
    • Ability to build relationships across global teams
