Key Responsibilities:

Prepare and Cook Dishes:

  • Prepare, marinate, and cook a variety of tandoori kebabs, such as chicken tikka, seekh kebabs, and paneer tikka.
  • Cook a wide range of Indian curries, including vegetarian and nonvegetarian options, ensuring authenticity and quality.
  • Utilize traditional Indian cooking techniques and equipment, such as tandoor ovens and spice grinders.
Ingredient Management:

  • Select, measure, and combine ingredients according to recipes and personal judgment, using various kitchen utensils and equipment.
  • Ensure freshness and quality of ingredients, including spices, meats, vegetables, and dairy products.
Kitchen Operations:

  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation, adhering to food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Monitor food stock and report inventory levels to the kitchen manager or head chef.
Menu Development:

  • Assist in developing and refining menu items, offering suggestions for new dishes or improvements to existing ones.
  • Keep uptodate with culinary trends and incorporate them into the menu where appropriate.
Customer Satisfaction:

  • Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards and presented attractively.
  • Accommodate special dietary requests and preferences as needed.


  • Proven experience as a cook specializing in Indian cuisine, particularly tandoori kebabs and curries.
  • Indepth knowledge of traditional Indian
