    Role & responsibilities

    • Conduct keyword research to identify high-volume, relevant keywords for our website and content.
    • Implement on-page SEO strategies including meta tags, headers, URL structures, and internal linking to improve website visibility and search engine rankings.
    • Develop and implement off-page SEO strategies such as link building, guest blogging, and social media optimization to increase website authority and domain ranking.
    • Monitor website performance using Google Analytics and other SEO tools to track organic traffic, keyword rankings, and user engagement metrics.
    • Analyze SEO data and trends to identify areas for improvement and develop actionable insights to optimize website performance.
    • Collaborate with content creators, web developers, and marketing teams to integrate SEO best practices into content creation and website development processes.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, algorithm updates, and best practices in SEO to ensure our strategies remain effective and compliant with search engine guidelines.
    • Conduct competitor analysis to benchmark our website performance against industry competitors and identify opportunities for improvement.
    • Prepare and present regular reports on SEO performance, key metrics, and insights to management and stakeholders.

    Preferred candidate profile

    • Bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in SEO, preferably in a digital marketing agency or e-commerce environment.
    • In-depth knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO best practices.
    • Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Moz, or similar SEO software.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make data-driven decisions.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
    • Proven track record of implementing successful SEO strategies and driving measurable results in organic traffic and search engine rankings.
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
    • Experience with content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress, Magento, or Shopify is a plus.
    • Google Analytics certification or other relevant certifications in digital marketing and SEO are desirable.
