    Description
    Qualys (QLYS) is a cybersecurity company headquartered in Foster City, CA, USA. We have an opening for a front-end web developer to join our Marketing team.

    Please note that this position will require you to work during US Pacific business hours until 5 PM PT (India night shift).

    Responsibilities


    Create and update responsive web pages that look good both on desktop and mobile devicesPrimarily make updates to but also make updates to sister websitesUse git version control to track code changesDebug website and email issues using tools such as browser inspectorsEdit and extract images in Photoshop and FigmaApply web development best practices, e.g.

    image optimization, coding techniques, etc.
    Communicate clearly (written and verbal)Have a very high attention to detail to create pixel-perfect web pagesBe a team player

    Requirements


    Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalentWillingness and ability to work during US Pacific business hours (~9 AM PT to ~5 PM PT)3-5 years of experience building pages using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript1-year of experience using Tailwind CSS(Bonus) React, NodeJS, Svelte experience(Bonus) Experience with Handlebars JS or equivalent, Litmus, Asana, Google Analytics, Sourcetree, WordPress, PHP(Bonus) Experience with website animation, e.g.

    CSS transitions, JavaScript animation, Greensock JavaScript animation library(Bonus) Good sense of web page layout and design(Bonus) Experience with linux system administration and Apache web server administration
