Job Overview:

The Company is looking for a skilled problem solver to join the team as Sr Forecasting Analyst. Generate demand accurate baseline forecast for company and Stock Keeping Units (SKU) for multiple brand lines within multiple marketplaces. Examines inventory levels for product to ascertain companys optimal financial performance and potential future sales. Analyses and manipulates aggregated forecast, shipments data.

Location: Iscon Crossroads, Ahmedabad Gujarat

Employee Strength: 100 employees

Job Duration Permanent / full time /work from office

Office Timing: 11 am to 8 pm or 12 pm to 9 pm (Monday to Friday) (required flexibility in case of any task or activity)

Requirements:

Managing inventory and forecasting of products to ensure consistent product availability

Providing reports on inventory performance reporting and analysis

Monitoring warehouse operations to ensure SLAs are being achieved

Maintaining strong relationships with marketplaces, consultancies, and solution providers, and recommending new solution providers as needed to ensure the business is utilizing industry leading solutions

Ensuring strategic objectives are being met in alignment with company goals

Working closely with internal departments to ensure proper execution of marketplace strategies including warehouse operations/3rd party logistics, inventory forecasting, accounting, customer service, IT, and other departments

Providing cross functional support to help guide internal departments on the execution of marketplace strategies in such areas as operations, IT, and warehouse operations

Define SKU level Safety stock to achieve in stock and inventory goals

Create an interpretation of data through the use of tools, Mathematics, Statistics, industry experience and logic to frame situations and allow meaningful dialogue and decision making

Qualifications and Skills:

Strong knowledge of planning, forecasting, data analysis

Strong understanding of principles of customer service as it applies to internal and external customers

Advanced computer and system operation skills

Good organizational and planning skills

Ability to write and present clearly at all levels of the organization

Excellent attention to detail, time management skills and meeting deadlines

Ability to reflect a positive attitude and disciplined work ethic

Ability to work in a team

Ability to work independently

Bachelors degree and 2 + years of forecasting experience

Computer skills: Microsoft Office products, with expert level with Excel
