Job summary
The Senior Accounts Manager will be responsible for financial reporting and analysis, general ledger management, compliance and controls, process improvement, team leadership and specific tasks such as accounts payable/receivable, payroll and tax compliance.Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, annual financial statements; perform budget vs. actual variance analysis; provide financial insights to management.
- General Ledger & Reconciliation: Manage journal entries; oversee bank reconciliations; reconcile sub-ledgers to the General Ledger (GL); maintain fixed asset schedules.
- Compliance & Controls: Ensure adherence to accounting standards (like GAAP) and internal policies; assist with internal/external audits; strengthen internal controls.
- Process Improvement: Streamline accounting processes; implement financial software; improve data accessibility.
