We are currently hiring a software engineer to join our engineering team to build and maintain a secure and robust cloud-based infrastructure on the Altair One TM platform.
What You Will Do:
Design, develop, test and deliver complete user story with minimal supervision.
Collaborate on architecture and integration requirements across multiple teams.
Work closely with distributed teams across the world to ensure that the Altair OneTM platform meets the Altair quality guidelines.
Gather and analyse metrics from both operating systems and applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding.
Showcase POCs enabling use of new frameworks/technologies.
What You Will Need:
Basics:Very good understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application is a must.
Very good programming experience in Python is a must.
Exposure to SQL/NoSQL database is a must.
Ability to program with one or more high level language such as Java,JS, Go is a plus.
Good understanding of microservice architecture and DevOps practices.
Experience with developing and deploying Cloud native services.
Knowledge of container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to work effectively in a distributed team.
A proactive approach to spotting problems, areas for improvement, and performance bottlenecks.
Preferred:
Knowledge with at least 1 public cloud provider
