RoleDescription
o The ideal candidate shouldhave seven to eight years post qualification experience incontract/commercial law preferably within in Engineering IT/Telecomengineering services industry.
o Prior experience with a multinational company and/or toplaw firm is preferred.
o The focus of the role will be to manage commercialcontractual issues legal matters for LTTS.
o This position will requireregular liaison with all internal departments as well ascustomer/supplier facing.
o This position will require the individual to handle ateam of approx. 2 resources.
KeyDuties
o Drafting vetting reviewingnegotiating agreements amendments other legal documents includingagreements for HR procurement relating to engineering telecom ITsector lease agreements and other agreements with a goodunderstanding of risks.
o Working in close coordination with legal technical HRAdmin Finance Procurement and other departments external LegalCounsels.
o Toexamine and summarise customer MSA NDA MOU End User LicensingAgreement Subcontractor/Vendor Agreement RFP etc. at the globallevel.
o Beconversant with GDPR global data privacy laws andregulations.
oHandle litigation matters as and when the need arises.
o Advising and assist keydepartments on all contractual matters and be a strategic advisorto the business.
oTo draft alternative clauses where necessary.
o To negotiate with vendorscustomers agreements in conjunction with front end/salesteams.
o Regulartraining of user teams on executed contracts contractcompliance.
o Indepth detailed research on various legal issues/projects.
o Update contractdatabase/Legal Repository.
o Manage team under him/her 2 resources to manage abovetasks.
o Handlinggeneral administrative duties.
o Abreast with technologyand technology applications in legal field.
Person Specification
Essential:
o Degree in Law from arenowned law school plus 7 8 years post qualification experience incontract/commercial law and contract management.
o Excellent written andverbal communication skills and drafting skills.
o Experience in dealing withexternal customers/clients.
o Ability to manage and prioritise heavy and variableworkload and manage team.
o Proven accuracy and attention to detail.
o Ability to read contractsquickly and determine salient points.
o Enthusiastic andhardworking.
oGood negotiation skills to deal with internal departments and forfuture external contact.
o Knowledge of engineering telecom/IT sector.
o Experience in global ormulticultural company
o Ability to handle ateam.
