Job Overview

We are seeking a Development Engineer with experience in foundry/casting plants to join our team. As a Development Engineer, you will be responsible for product development, foundry management, and new product development (NPD). The ideal candidate will have a background in metallurgy, mechanical engineering, and production. This is a full-time position based in Gurgaon, Haryana, India, and requires 1 to 3 years of experience.

Qualifications and Skills

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• 1 to 3 years of experience in foundry/casting operations
• Strong knowledge of foundry processes and metallurgical principles
• Experience in product development and new product introduction
• Proficiency in using CAD software and other relevant engineering tools
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities
• Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers
• Knowledge of production scheduling and quality control methods

Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and improve products using foundry/casting processes
• Manage and optimize existing foundry operations to ensure efficiency and quality
• Participate in the development of new products and processes
• Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to design and implement solutions
• Monitor production metrics and implement corrective actions
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and regulations
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for foundry/casting related issues
• Mentor and train junior engineers
