    Job Overview

    We are looking for an experienced Executive Sous Chef to join our team. As the Executive Sous Chef, you will assist the Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen operations. This is a senior role that requires 7 to 10 years of culinary experience.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • Proven experience as an Executive Sous Chef or similar role
    • Excellent knowledge of culinary techniques and trends
    • Strong leadership and management skills
    • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Attention to detail and a passion for creating exceptional dishes
    • Ability to train and motivate kitchen staff
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
    • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
    • Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or related field is preferred

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Assist the Head Chef in planning and directing food preparation and culinary activities
    • Supervise and train kitchen staff on food preparation and cooking techniques
    • Ensure the highest quality of food and presentation
    • Implement and maintain hygiene and safety standards in the kitchen
    • Collaborate with the Head Chef to create and update menus
    • Oversee inventory management and control food costs
    • Manage and maintain kitchen equipment and utensils
    • Monitor and maintain stock levels of ingredients and supplies
    • Assist in recruiting and selecting kitchen staff
    • Stay updated with industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas into menu development
    • Supervise and assist in food preparation during high-demand periods
    • Handle any customer complaints regarding food quality and service
    • Maintain a positive working environment and foster teamwork among the kitchen staff
