    Job Title: Regional Head/Regional Manager (South)

    Job Description:

    The Regional Head/Regional Manager is responsible for developing and executing business development strategies to achieve market plans and targets that deliver growth in students, and CFP certificants, develop partner relationships and extend FPSB India's brand reputation with Education providers, universities/B-Schools or employers, positioning CFP (Certified Financial Planner) certification as the qualification of choice in India.

    The Regional Head/Regional Manager will contribute to delivering the strategy in their region for their stakeholder group (Authorized Education providers, Authorized universities/Business schools and Authorized Corporate Partners), they will manage designated stakeholders in their region. The role will be responsible for prioritizing stakeholders, putting in place clear partner engagement plans and providing regular reports on activity against plans and targets.

    The role will be responsible for delivering agreed business development targets, supporting the delivery of FPSB India growth aspirations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Understand and contribute towards the regional / Education providers business schools universities/ employers' strategy and business plan, with a specific focus on growth of students, and CFP professionals.

    2. Own, grow and develop relationships with designated education providers business schools / universities/ employers, understanding their business requirements and providing support, solutions and services to meet them.

    3. Create and implement partner engagement plans to deliver personal business development targets and maintain positive and mutually beneficial relationships over time.

    4. Hold high quality conversations with partners to understand their business needs and match them to FPSB's products and services.

    5. Promote the value of the CFP certification to partners to build FPSB India's reputation and influence and support sustainable student recruitment, progression, and conversion to membership.

    6. Participate in the co-ordination and management of partner events to build FPSB India's reputation and influence in the market.

    7. Identify opportunities for campaigns, marketing activity and services that will support the achievement of FPSB India's growth aspirations in India.

    8. Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify opportunities to further develop FPSB India's proposition and offering within the region.

    9. Support students at education providers / business schools universities/ employers with registrations, counselling and guidance on FPSB India's processes and access in India.

    10. Maintain accurate records and report regularly on progress through agreed reporting mechanisms.

    Key Metrics (financial and/or non-financial):

    This role is accountable for supporting the successful delivery of FPSB India's strategy. Key performance indicators include:

    • Growth in New Enrollments - CFP Certification, Appointment and Management of New Education Providers, Business Schools/Universities, Corporates.
    • Exam Entry and progression; conversion to certification
    • Employability for CFP professionals and CFP student, and CFP professionals' satisfaction.

    Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

    The successful candidate will have:

    1. Demonstrable experience in business development, key account management and business-to-business relationship management, ideally in a professional service-based environment.

    2. Knowledge of sales, business development frameworks, processes and techniques.

    3. Understanding of financial planning related issues (a finance background would be an advantage).

    4. Education to degree level or equivalent and possibly also a relevant postgraduate or professional qualification relevant to the post.

    5. A professional qualification (desirable, preferably CFP).

    6. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build long term, high quality, trusted relationships up to, and including, board level.

    7. Outstanding communication and presentation skills, both written and oral both in English & Vernacular/ Regional Languages.

    8. Commercial orientation and results drive, with a track record of successful delivery .and an ability to identify new opportunities.

    9. A high level of motivation, proactivity and enthusiasm; able to work independently.

    10. Ability to plan, organize and priorities work, to set stretching targets and meet strict deadlines within agreed budgets.

    11. Integrity and professionalism in line with FPSB India's values and mission.
