- Managing the quality systems and ensuring that appropriate improvement actions are carried out to ensure continual improvement
- Auditing the quality systems and quality assurance methods of vendors and ensuring that improvements are being implemented on a continual basis.
- Coordinating with vendors to ensure continuous reduction in defects of incoming materials.
- Coordinating with operations to ensure continuous reduction in defects or non-conformities during various processes.
- Carrying out the functions of an M.R.
- Regular auditing of ISO procedures. Setting up and implementing systems which lead to TS 16949 certification.
- Identifying inspection methods to identify product and process defects and carrying out activities that would result in lower variability
- Being a part of the team responsible for the selection, appointment, and training of other members of the QA, Vendor development, and operations personnel.
- Analysis of field complaints and implementation of appropriate preventive actions.
- Co-ordinate with Product Engineering Group for quality planning of new products being developed.
- Documentation and management of quality, vendor development, and operations related documentation
- Training and other activities, which aid organizational growth as well as the development of the organization's manpower.
- Well conversant with quality upgradation techniques
- Experience in gear manufacturing industries of industrial products would be preferred.
