    Job Description:

    We are seeking to recruit an ambitious and dynamic BIM Modeler to join the 'UK iCRC Rail BIM Team' Stations / Rail Engineering Services focused in Bengaluru to work alongside our UK Rail discipline.

    The successful candidate will be working in a team environment to develop and deliver projects through various stages of design from feasibility to planning/detailed design and construction.


    Roles & Responsibility:

    You will be working and supporting a range of infrastructure schemes to independently develop engineering drawings under the relevant standards.

    You will be expected to play a proactive part in the design process and be active on several projects at any given time.

    You will be contributing to all types of projects.

    You will be using MicroStation, AECOsim/OpenBuilding designer, ProjectWise, AutoCAD, Revit, BIM 360, OpenRail, iTwin and other engineering BIM software for the production and development of models and drawings.

    You will read and adhere to all relevant policies and procedures for Health and Safety including the H&S Policy, H&S Manual, and Local Procedures Manual.


    Technical ExperienceAbility to utilise MicroStation, AECOsim/OpenBuilding Designer, ProjectWise, AutoCAD, Revit, OpenRail Designer, and iTwin in adherence to defined CAD & BIM standards to develop 3D modelling, layouts, labelling, dimensioning, sheet layout, design details and other appropriate design concepts.

    Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D BIM drawings and models to assist with investigations of engineering problems.
    Proven ability to work up drawings (plans, sections & details) from Engineers' basic sketches to full working drawings.
    Ability to liaise with the design teams as necessary to coordinate design and drawing production.
    Assists with establishing, maintaining and enforcing the use of proper CAD standards and procedures.
    UK Rail project experience and working knowledge of UK design standards.

    You should be able to demonstrate some experience and working knowledge of relevant technical design guidance and standards, such as ISO 19650, HS2 standard, Network rail standard, Crossrail standard, Uniclass 2015 etc.,Perform clash detection using Navisworks/Navigator/iTwin.

    Coordinate between the MEP team, Architecture team & other project stakeholders.

    You should be able to understand and communicate BIM and CAD standards for use on Rail engineering projects and possess an appropriate overall knowledge of the UK rail infrastructure design sector.

    Proficient in the use of standard office software.
    Commitment to work as part of a design team focused on project delivery.
    Good understanding and knowledge of Multi-Discipline Rail ProjectsGood written and verbal communication skills.
