    Description

    We are seeking ahighly skilled and experienced Design & Estimate Consultantwith expertise in structured cabling project coordination budgetestimating project estimation tender preparation bill of materialsdesign team coordination IT infrastructure design electronicsecurity systems closedcircuit television (CCTV) and AutoCAD. As aDesign & Estimate Consultant you will play a critical rolein designing and estimating IT infrastructure projects coordinatingwith various stakeholders and ensuring successful projectexecution.

    Responsibilities:

    1. Design and Estimation: Developcomprehensive designs and estimates for IT infrastructure projectsincluding structured cabling electronic security systems CCTV andrelated components. Ensure adherence to industry standards codesand best practices.
    2. Project Coordination: Collaborate with internal teamsclients vendors and subcontractors to coordinate project activitieseffectively. Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and meetclient requirements.
    3. Budget Estimating: Prepare accurate and detailed budgetestimates for IT infrastructure projects considering all necessarymaterials labor costs and other relevant factors. Monitor projectcosts and make necessary adjustments to ensure adherence to budgetconstraints
    4. Tender Preparation: Prepare tender documents includingtechnical specifications bill of materials and other relevantdocumentation. Coordinate the tender process evaluate bids and makerecommendations for vendor selection.
    5. Design Team Coordination: Collaborate with design teamsarchitects engineers and other stakeholders to coordinate projectrequirements resolve design issues and ensure smooth projectimplementation.
    6. ITInfrastructure Design: Develop comprehensive IT infrastructuredesigns including structured cabling layouts network equipmentplacement rack configurations cable pathways and other relatedelements. Ensure compliance with industry standards and clientspecifications.
    7. Electronic Security Systems: Design and specifyelectronic security systems including access control surveillancecameras intrusion detection and alarm systems. Collaborate withsecurity consultants to ensure effective integration of thesesystems with IT infrastructure.
    8. ClosedCircuit Television (CCTV): Design andspecify CCTV systems including camera placement monitoring stationsvideo storage and network infrastructure requirements. Ensurecompliance with applicable regulations and industry bestpractices.
    9. AutoCAD: Utilize AutoCAD software to create and modifytechnical drawings including floor plans cable routing diagramsequipment layouts and other projectrelated drawings.


    Requirements

    • Bachelor s degreein electrical engineering Computer Science or a relatedfield.
    • Proven experience as a Design& Estimate Consultant preferably in IT infrastructureprojects.
    • Strong knowledge and expertise in structured cablingproject coordination budget estimating project estimation tenderpreparation bill of materials design team coordination ITinfrastructure design electronic security systems CCTV andAutoCAD.
    • Indepth understanding ofindustry standards and best practices related to IT infrastructuredesign and implementation.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills toeffectively collaborate with internal teams clients vendors andsubcontractors.
    • Strong analytical andproblemsolving abilities to address design and estimationchallenges.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously anddeliver within established timelines.
    • Proficient inusing AutoCAD software for creating and modifying technicaldrawings.
    • Knowledge of relevantsoftware tools for estimating project management anddocumentation.
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to deliveringhighquality work.

    Bachelor s degreein electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Proven experience as a Design & Estimate Consultant, preferablyin IT infrastructure projects. Strong knowledge and expertise instructured cabling, project coordination, budget estimating,project estimation, tender preparation, bill of materials, designteam coordination, IT infrastructure design, electronic securitysystems, CCTV, and AutoCAD. In-depth understanding of industrystandards and best practices related to IT infrastructure designand implementation. Excellent communication and interpersonalskills to effectively collaborate with internal teams, clients,vendors, and subcontractors. Strong analytical and problem-solvingabilities to address design and estimation challenges. Ability tomanage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver withinestablished timelines. Proficient in using AutoCAD software forcreating and modifying technical drawings. Knowledge of relevantsoftware tools for estimating, project management, anddocumentation. Attention to detail and a commitment to deliveringhigh-quality work.
