    Opening for Project Manager - Transformation Projects for a Global Investment Bank

    Position Purpose


    The jobholder will be responsible for managing delivery of strategic project objectives and transformation initiatives in Performance Steering as per agreed governance framework and timelines.

    Key Responsibilities

    Transformation Initiatives & Projects

    • Participate in the global Finance reengineering program to understand project plan, objectives, roadmap, impact on local teams in detail and assist with successful implementation of resulting changes
    • Participate in initiatives like reporting digitization for best practice sharing, creation of suitable framework with welldefined objectives, analysis measures and aid timely decision making
    • Perform analysis of current PS activities, understand systems architecture to identify automation opportunities and make the reporting more interactive for end users
    • Act as main point of contact for liaising with global project teams, regional stakeholders and local PM team to facilitate active representation from ISPL and effective implementation of projects
    • Assist the management to document project plans and status updates for building a platform of core expertise, including preparation of regular dashboards and other MIS
    • Identify and mitigate risks in project delivery in a timely manner and ensure a proficient BAU setup post completion of the project
    • Ensure timely completion and review BAU activities for completed rollouts
    • Organize steering committee meetings to discuss project plan and considerations, frame action plan and monitor progress
    • Conduct sessions for local PM teams to provide Finance program updates and insights on new reporting tools, as may be required
    • Set objectives, ensure accurate performance evaluation, provide regular feedback, manage talent pool and career paths, support mobility for the teams
    • Manage responses to auditors/regulators queries
    • Manage ad hoc assignments as requested by Central / Regional Finance / senior management
    Contributing Responsibilities

    Systems Transformation


    Participate in the technology upgrades of respective accounting/reporting tools, as well as system enhancements required to facilitate new / modified reporting requirements.

    In connection with this effort, ensure timely user acceptance testing and trouble-shooting.

    Technical & Behavioural Competencies

    • 5+ years of relevant experience in a global financial services company Strong project management & organizational skills Advanced MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Access etc.) Preferred knowledge of Alteryx and BI tools like Tableau / Power BI
    • Strong communication and presentation capability
    • Solutionsoriented thinker who is able to generate improvement ideas, ability to prioritize
    • Strong achievement drive with ability to work independently and collaboratively with various teams to ensure optimal work is done and efficiently manage change
    Specific Qualifications (if required)

    • CA/MBA with relevant experience
