    We are looking for a Manager- Corporate Strategy and Business Development for a Global Pharmaceutical MNC in Mumbai.


    The role entails:

    • Continuously evaluating, enriching, and expanding the product portfolio.
    • Acting as a liaison between crossfunctional teams for successful ideation to launch execution.
    • Driving the New Product Identification Process by evaluating and selecting products for near and longterm launches.
    • Conducting Therapy Gap Analysis and recommending products accordingly.
    • Managing project activities effectively.
    • Analyzing competitive intelligence data to identify innovative products and peer strategies across development and marketing.
    • Spearheading the update of live portfolio dashboards and continuous updating of product initiation forms online.
    • Conducting business case evaluations, revising revenue projections, and budgeting for pipeline and inline products.
    • Facilitating product evaluations from thirdparty perspectives in coordination with the commercial Product Ideation & Feasibility Analysis:
    • Establishing and institutionalizing processes for product selection.
    • Identifying new product opportunities aligned with overall business objectives.
    • Validating market potential through primary/secondary market sources.
    • Collaborating with crossfunctional teams to assess development feasibility and estimate product costing.

    Product Selection & Prioritization:

    • Anchoring product selection meetings/discussions.
    • Prioritizing selected products based on predefined criteria.
    • Finalizing launch calendars.

    Third-Party Partner Evaluation:

    • Interacting with prospective thirdparty partners in conjunction with the commercial team.
    • Validating technologies and skill sets of partners.
    • Ensuring timely alliances with partners.
    • Product Launches & Due Diligence:
    • Ensuring alignment between R&D, sourcing, marketing, and contract manufacturing teams for timely product launches.
    • Validating launch performance against initial business assumptions.
    • Providing management reporting on performance versus targets.

    Health of the Product Pipeline:

    • Tracking and monitoring the product pipeline's health.
    • Establishing integrated data management and MIS for portfolio management.
    • Continuously evaluating the health of existing products and providing inputs for management decisionmaking.
    Experience: 3-6 years of experience in Business Development, Marketing, Market Research, or Portfolio Planning in the pharmaceutical industry.

    Qualification:
    with an MBA degree in Business Management.
