- Patent Application Drafting (for filing in US and India) – Understanding invention disclosures related to various technical domains (Mechanical), determining novelty of invention based on comparison with known prior art, conducting inventor interviews, drafting patent application (including claims, detailed description, drawings), reviewing patent application drafted by team members, and mentoring team members for drafting patent application.
- Drafting response to Office Action (for US applications) – Analyzing patent application and references cited in office action, determining differences between the patent application and cited references, formalizing strategies to respond on various objections/rejections (101, 102, 103, 112) in office action, amending claims and/or writing arguments to differentiate patent application from the cited references, reviewing office action responses prepared by other team members, and mentoring team members for drafting office action response.

Skills we're looking for:

·Prior experience of drafting patent applications and/or office action responses and independent client management is preferred.
·Excellent knowledge of IP laws of various countries, various patent databases, technical domains with respect to educational background
·Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word,
· Any certifications of additional courses or trainings (in Intellectual Property or otherwise) would be a plus
