Overview:

The ProjectSite Engineer & Site Supervisor plays a pivotal role inoverseeing and managing construction projects onsite. They areresponsible for ensuring that all activities are carried outaccording to safety regulations quality standards and projecttimelines. This role is essential in ensuring the successfulcompletion of construction projects while maintaining highstandards of workmanship and safety.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Supervise andmanage construction activities onsite according to project plansand specifications
• Coordinate with projectmanagers engineers and subcontractors to ensure smooth projectexecution
• Ensure compliance with health andsafety regulations and implement necessary measures to mitigaterisks
• Manage labor and material resourcesefficiently to meet project deadlines
• Conductregular site inspections to monitor progress quality and adherenceto specifications
• Resolve any onsite issues andconflicts that may arise during the constructionprocess
• Implement and enforce quality controlmeasures to maintain high standards ofworkmanship
• Prepare and maintain accurateproject documentation reports andrecords
• Oversee the implementation ofenvironmental and sustainability practices onsite
• Participate in project meetings andprovide regular updates on site progress andchallenges
• Manage and lead onsite constructionteams providing guidance and support asneeded
• Coordinate with local authorities andstakeholders for permits and approvals
• Ensureefficient utilization of resources and cost control onsite
• Conduct risk assessments and implementnecessary measures to prevent accidents anddelays
• Conduct regular safety briefings andtraining for onsitepersonnel

RequiredQualifications:

• Bachelors degree inCivil Engineering Construction Management or a relatedfield
• Proven experience in constructionmanagement and site supervision
• Strongknowledge of construction methods materials andprocesses
• Excellent understanding of safetyregulations and quality standards inconstruction
• Proficient in project managementand scheduling software
• Effective communicationand interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead andmotivate onsite teams
• Problemsolving abilitiesand a proactive approach to addressing onsitechallenges
• Understanding of environmental andsustainability practices in construction
• Strongorganizational and time managementskills
• Ability to work under pressure andmanage multiple priorities
• Certification inOSHA and First Aid/CPR is preferred
• Experiencewith risk assessment and mitigationstrategies
• Attention to detail and ability tomaintain accurate projectdocumentation
• Flexibility to work onsite andadapt to changing projectrequirements
