Overview:
PL Capital Markets is seeking a dynamic and experienced Associate/Analyst in Investment Banking to join our team at One World Centre, Lower Parel. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of relevant experience and a strong educational background in MBA Finance, CA, or CFA.
**Job Responsibilities:**
1. **Financial Analysis:**
Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and modeling to support deal evaluation.
Evaluate company financial statements, industry trends, and economic indicators.
2. **Deal Execution:**
Collaborate with senior team members in executing capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, and other financial transactions.
Assist in due diligence processes and the preparation of transaction documents.
3. **Pitch Books and Presentation:**
Support in the preparation of compelling pitch books for client presentations.
Work closely with senior team members to create effective presentations.
4. **Road Show Planning:**
Assist in planning and organizing road shows for potential investors.
Coordinate and ensure smooth execution of road show events.
5. **Information Memorandum (IM) Preparation:**
Play a key role in the preparation of detailed Information Memorandums for clients.
Work with cross-functional teams to gather relevant information and create comprehensive documents.
6. **Client Interaction:**
Work closely with clients to understand their capital and finance requirements and provide strategic financial advice.
Develop and maintain client relationships through effective communication and service delivery.
7. **Presentation and Reporting:**
Prepare and deliver presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Generate comprehensive reports for clients and management.
**Qualifications:**
1. MBA in Finance, CA, or CFA qualification.
2. 3-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking.
3. Strong financial modeling and analysis skills.
4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
5. Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
6. Detail-oriented with a keen analytical mindset.
7. Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
