JOB DETAILS:

Position: Specialist Emergency Physician

Location: Jamshedpur, Jharkhand

Salary: Industry Standards

Qualification: MD/DNB Medicine

Experience: 0-10 years

• Examine patient and provide medical advice
• Investigate and prescribe medication as needed
• Perform dressing and stitching procedures when required
• Admit patients to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) as necessary
• Examine quickly and initiate treatment promptly
• Dress and stitch wounds when required
• Attend to Outpatient Department (OPD) patients daily at the Outpatient Hospital Centre (OHC)
• Supervise and manage patient care under the guidance of the Head Medical Officer
• Conduct annual medical examinations as required

Responsibilities also include supervising and maintaining the functioning of the medical stores, dispensary, general store, X-ray unit, laboratory, operation theatre, hospital kitchen, etc. when assigned by the Head Medical Officer. Additionally, they will support administration in checking attendance, leave recommendations, duty preparation, etc.

The ideal candidate should possess good standard medical care skills, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, handling first aid and emergencies, liaising with hospitals and specialists for health camps and health talks, promoting occupational health and hygiene, overseeing the maintenance and administration of the occupational health centre, conducting periodic training programs on first aid and general health and hygiene, organizing health internal audits and risk assessments, implementing health management systems, advising employers and employees on safe and healthy work practices and health management systems, and coordinating in-house trainings on health and safety.

The candidate should have completed MBBS and DNB/MD Medicine from a recognized university. The university should be NMC/MCI recognized.
