JOB OVERVIEWPlan A Technologies is looking for a

Systems Engineer

with strong CI/CD, QA automation and Kubernetes skills in Azure Cloud. This role would be primarily working with Development team members to fully automate CI/CD pipelines in Azure Cloud. This is an exciting job with room for significant career growth.


Please note:

you must have at least 5+ years of experience in database administration, with automating CI/CD pipelines, and QA automation to be considered for this role.

RESPONSIBILITIESIdentify and automate build, deploy, release, security and functional validation using CI/CD Pipelines.
Partner with Devs in converting services from Monolithics to MicroservicesPartner with Devs in modularizing databases, archival/cleanup and performance improvementsEffectively run and manage services in Kubernetes in Azure cloudFully automate test cases (web, apps) using QA automation frameworksDetailed, clear, and consistent communication, both verbal and written, with stakeholdersStay on top of ever evolving technology landscape and make recommendations for process or technology upgradesStrong organizational, negotiation, conflict solving skills

EXPERIENCEBachelor's Degree in a Technical Field and/or similar certification5+ years of professional experience with automating CI/CD pipelines5+ years of demonstrated experience in QA automation5+ years of demonstrated experience in database administration (database modularization, cleanup/archival, migration to NoSQL)Expertise with running and managing microservices using Kubernetes in Azure CloudExperience working with relational databases and troubleshooting database performance and latency issues.

Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills to identify and resolve issues in web applications; ability to analyze log files, stack traces, interpret data, run quick tests to pinpoint the root cause of problems and implement appropriate solutions.

Excellent problem solvingExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishInitiative and drive to do great things

Nice to have:
Experience with Mobile Apps and/or debugging Payment/ECommerce products
