Arena Investors, LP ("Arena") is a global investment management firm that seeks to generate attractive risk adjusted, consistent and uncorrelated returns by employing a fundamentals based, asset-oriented financing and investing strategy across the entire credit spectrum in areas where conventional sources of capital are scarce.

Arena specializes in off-the-run, stressed, distressed, illiquid and esoteric special situation transactions through originations and acquisitions of asset-oriented investments across a wide array of asset types (including but not limited to private direct corporate credit, commercial real estate bridge lending, and commercial and consumer assets).

Quaestor Advisors, LLC ("Quaestor") is an affiliated Special Servicer, which provides mid and back office services, including asset management, to Arena Investors and external clients.

Quaestor is looking to expand the team through the addition of Analyst _Finance research & outreach. Ideal candidates will be organized, self-motivated, resourceful and able to work effectively with all internal functional groups

Researching specific industries / sectors as part of the transaction evaluation process, including:Synthesizing findings from consultant research into concise summaries / reports or providing data summaries / charts as appropriateIdentifying similar transactions (and terms) to proposed transactionIdentifying potential sources of information or experts to use in the formal due diligence phaseProcessing and analyzing large sets of data related to potential borrowers (customer, financial etc.)

Execute valuation and financial analysis and conduct industry research

Lead Generation and Knowledge Management

Using the internet, Arena subscribed databases or other sources to create leads including brokers or other vendors across EuropePrimarily responsible for populating a database of potential new deal leadsProficient in utilizing various techniques to identify key contact information for executives of companiesThe role will also include identifying names, titles, phone numbers, and email addresses of key executives (CEO, President, CFO, COO, etc.) of middle market US based CompaniesThe data identified will be populated by the analyst into a database in support of the Originations team's effort to identify new proprietary leadsCandidates will be responsible for identifying new leads and updating and maintaining the existing database

Requirements

The preferred candidate should also have either work or educational experience in

elementary financial analysis e.g. worked as an analyst, or accountant or studied financial

management / analysis.

The candidate must thrive as a self-starter, as they will have tremendous autonomy and they should be 100% comfortable with working remotely.

Financial industry experience; MBA/PGDM in Finance required

Strong oral and written communication skills & excellent time management

Computer skills including use of Word /Excel/ Presentation
